Our insurance contracts are subject to change. We recommend verifying your benefits directly with your insurer before beginning services. Active clients will be notified in advance of any changes to participation.
Self-Pay, Superbills & Out-of-Network Benefits
Self-pay is available to any client, whether or not we're in-network with your insurance. For all private pay sessions, we provide a detailed superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Private pay also offers complete clinical privacy, no session limits, and maximum scheduling flexibility — without insurance company oversight of your care.
To check your out-of-network benefits: call member services on your insurance card and ask, "What are my out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits for CPT 90837?"
To make reimbursement easier, we've partnered with Thrizer — a free service that submits your superbill for you and can get you reimbursed in days rather than weeks, with no paperwork on your end. Learn more and sign up at thrizer.com.
Navigating payment and benefits can be confusing. Our billing specialist, Amy Breland with BH Credential Me, is available to help you understand your options — whether that's verifying in-network benefits, walking through self-pay, or answering questions about superbills and reimbursement. You can reach her directly through a message in your secure client portal.
